Kevin Slack

Kevin Slack was born in Ontario, Canada and raised on a farm. He attempted to start his photography portfolio in grade 5 in a classmate's backyard. Gratefully those photos are lost to history. Kevin studied Visual Arts and English at the University of Western Ontario where he studied painting and film photography. After, Kevin worked as a muralist and a high school teacher.  He has lived and worked in Korea and in Ecuador.

He has exhibited at Ben Navaee Gallery in Toronto and Gallery RFD in Georgia, USA. He has been featured extensively, including with Beautiful Mag, Australia’s DNA Magazine, and The Advocate. He contributed to Bruno Gmunder’s anthologies BeautifulVision and Kissed: Sensuality in Gay Art.

He continues to travel to his favourite exile, Cuba, where he would live if he could figure out how, and if he could take his dog.
