Kai Karenin is a Russian visual artist based in St.-Petersburg, Russia. Since 2002 Kai has been working as a graphic designer, participating in and winning international design and poster contests. Abstract painting and minimalistic design is feature of his creativity.

Since 2011 Kai start to work specializing on fashion illustrations with clean style and portrait similarity, focusing on both physical beauty and personality. His style has a strength due to the hard lines, while at the same time the sensual poses and revealing imagery adds a strong sensuality to his art.

In a short time, his art has become very popular, gaining Kai collaborations with famous photographers Rick Day, Gregory Vaughan, Ronald NZ Tan, and Thomas Synnamon, as well as others. Kai has been featured in The Blake Magazine (France) and Obvious Magazine (USA).
